Post-Baccalaureate Development Program

Description: The program is developed to facilitate the entry of under-represented groups into medical and graduate school. The curriculum will focus on science and test-taking skills. Students who successfully complete the Program are offered admission to Wake Forest University School of Medicine as first year medical students.

Eligibility: Underrepresented minority/disadvantaged with an accredited bachelor's degree; 2.5 GPA or higher; total MCAT score of 21 or more; N or above in the writing sample and 8 semester hours each of Biology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Physics.

Duration: The program begins with summer school in July and continues through the fall and spring semesters.

Finances: Tuition-free. Students are responsible for all living expenses. Loans are available for those who qualify.

Application Deadline: March 1. There is a $45 application fee to apply to the program.
