Post-Baccalaureate Pre-medical Preparation Program

Description: This program is designed for those who already have a bachelor's degree and wish to do further undergraduate work in the sciences in order to pursue a career in the health professions. Students take courses to prepare for admission to health professional schools: medicine, dentistry, veterinary science, podiatry, optometry, pharmacy and other fields.

Eligibility: Eligible students are those who have completed a baccalaureate program at an accredited college or university but never took any, or enough, science courses to pursue a career in the health professions.

Duration: The program is designed for part-time students; students must petition to study full time.

Finances: For the 2004-05 academic year, tuition is $429 per credit hour for a course load of 1-11 credits. There is a $25 application fee.

Application Deadline: Applications are considered on a rolling basis. Students may begin in the fall, spring or summer terms.
